Henri Verrière à Paris, No. 123, circa 1860. Fine small, 30-hour going mahogany cased marine chronometer with power reserve indication. Three body mahogany with external brass handles, glazed upper section with hinged lid. Brass bowl and gimballed suspension. Silvered with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute ring, subsidiary seconds and sector for the up-anddown scale. Blued steel Breguet hands. Frosted and gilt, full plate, with cylindrical pillars, fusee with maintaining power, spring detent escapement, two-arm compensation balance with ogival weights and timing screws, diamond end-stone, free-sprng blued steel helical balance spring. Signed on the dial with signature punched with the number on the reverse of the dial. In very good condition. Diam of the dial: 77 mm. Dim. of the box: 14,7 x 13,9 x 13,9 cm.
