Pennsylvania painted poplar kas, dated 1840 , with a molded lift cornice above a green cartouche, inscribed in red "Regina Ki__hhofer" and date with red and yellow polychrome tulips over a 3 panel door with red, green and yellow star decoration on an ochre grained ground within blue, red and green framing, flanked by yellow inscribed panels centering on stars and tulips, the sides with similar decoration. Provenance: Gift to the present owner by Titus Geesey.
