Pierre Le Roy à Paris, No. 6001, circa 1775. Fine 18 ct. gold and enamel, paste set quarter repeating watch. Double body, Louis XVI, the paste-set bezel with opalescent enamel pink pearl decoration, the back of brown enamel with a small applied painted enamel portrait of a lady, framed in a paste set decoration. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute ring and rose diamond inlaid half hour divisions ( slightly chipped near the winding hole). Gold Louis XVI hands. Hinged gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three armed balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock with polished steel end-piece. Repeating on a belle by depressing the pendant. Signed on the dial and the back plate. In good condition. Diam. 35 mm. Notes Interessante orologio da tasca ripetizione a quarti, in oro 18K, smalto e pietre.
