Thomas Russel & Son, Makers to the Queen, Liverpool, No. 97260, with Chester hallmarks for 1898. Fine 18 ct. gold half hunting cased keyless pocket chronometer with 52 1/2 minute Karrusel regulator. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets", polished, marked "B.B." (Benson Brothers), the band, pendant and bow with floral chased decoration, the cover with black champlevé enamelled Roman numerals on the dial aperture border. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel with Roman numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "pear" hands.
