Leroy & Fils, Hgers du Roi a Paris, No. 23876, circa 1850. Fine 18K gold, quarter repeating watch with dead independent seconds. Four body, "forme quatre baguettes", engineturned with reeded band. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel with Roman numerals. Gold Breguet hands. Notes Leroy & Fils, Horlogers du Roi, was the signature of the founder of the Leroy compagny, Galcrie de Vallois, Palais Royal, later managed by Thomas Gamier.
