Wedgwood Glazed Drabware Dolphin Tripod Inkstand, England, c. 1840, removable inkpot centering piercings to the shoulder, impressed mark, ht. 4 1/2 in. Inkpot with slight ink staining. 1/4" shallow rim chip. Glaze removed from the impressed mark (as is sometimes the case, glaze fills in the mark making it hard to read; in this case someone has had the glaze scratched off to better reveal the mark).
