Four-Piece Wedgwood Black Basalt Tea Set, England, c. 1871, each gilt and polychrome enamel decorated with dot-bordered bands of florets, including two covered teapots, ht. 4 1/2, 5 in.; covered sugar bowl, ht. 4 1/4 in.; and waste bowl, dia. 5 in.; impressed marks. 4 1/2" teapot cover broken into three large pieces and simply reglued. The same cover with numerous chips to the insert collar. All other pieces in very good condition throughout with no cracks, chips or restorations.
