Manuel Jiménez (Mexican, 1919-2005) Lot of Two Dog Portraits. One signed and inscribed "AUTOR/MANUEL JIMENEZ/ANGELICO JIMENEZ/ISAIAS..." on the underside, carved and painted wood sculpture, approximately 11 x 18 x 9 in.; the other signed "Isaias Jimenez/ Manuel Jimenez" in pencil l.l., screenprint on paper, sight size 25 1/2 x 17 1/2 in., framed. Condition: Good. Provenance: Estate of Blair Lent, Cambridge, Massachusetts. N.B. Manuel Jimenez was best known as a Oaxacan woodcarver, and was assisted in the studio by his sons Angelico and Isaias Jimenez.
