Blue Transfer-decorated Staffordshire Pottery Partial Tea Service, England, early 19th century, depicting "Mount Vernon, The Seat of the Late Gen'l Washington," identified in blue stamped title on the bottom of some pieces, with floral border, comprising a teapot, covered sugar, creamer, five tea bowls, and four saucers, twelve items total, (minor chips), ht. 2 3/8-7 1/4 in. Teapot-a few tiny nicks on finail edge, 1 corner of cover repaired, tiny bit of glaze wear on tip of spout; Sugar- 1/3 in. shallow chip on sugar cover corner, 1/2 and 1/8 in. chip on sugar bowl's everted rim,small spot of glaze wear on one handle; Creamer- very good; teabowls- one very good, two with a hairline and a few tiny rim nicks, two with a couple small rim chips and 1/2 in base chips; Saucers- two with 1/4 in. shallow rim chips.
