Group of Memorial Jewelry Items, late 18th century, a brooch depicting a well dressed maiden beside an urn, enamel and split pearl border, and two rings, one depicting an image of Hope, the other with central compartment and garnet and split pearl border, gold mounts, lg. 1 5/8 in., size 8 1/4, 5 3/4, (losses and alterations). Brooch: image with corrosion. Formerly a ring, but with quite old pinstem. dated 1788. Hope ring with heavy corrosion to image. Garnet ring lacking hairwork, and probably was a brooch, now mounted onto a ring shank.
