Attributed to Harry Leslie Hoffman (American, 1871-1964) Arts & Crafts Picture Frame Incised signature "H L Hoffman 141" on the frame reverse. Gilt over red bole carved wood, rabbet size 26 x 24 in. (66.0 x 61.0 cm), 5 3/4 in. (14.6 cm) width, outer dimensions 37 x 35 x 2 1/4 in. (94.0 x 88.9 x 5.7 cm). Condition: Minor wear. Thin cracks at miter joints. Wear to gilt at outer corners and along bottom edge. Loss of gesso and gilt, about 1 inch wide, at back corner, u.r.
