Otto Mueller (German, 1874-1930) Waldlandschaft mit kleinen Figuren II, 1919, edition of 60 (Karsch, 74). Signed "Otto Mueller" in pencil l.r., numbered "24/60" in pencil l.l. Lithograph on paper, image size 15 1/2 x 11 1/2 in. (39.3 x 29.2 cm), unmatted, unframed. Condition: Margins 2 inches or more, toning, staining, mat burn, tears to left margin (none into image), horizontal crease plus additional creases to upper and left margins, tape/hinging residue to verso. The sheet measures 19 7/8 x 15 1/4 inches. The sheet itself is the color of latte, while the areas of mat burn are darker still. The longest of the tears measures 15/16 inches, but even this is well outside of the image. The others are less than 1/2 inch. The horizontal crease through the image is not pressed, and is visible primarily in raking light.
