Chippendale-style Needlepoint-inset and Carved Mahogany Pole Screen, the petit point needlework panel depicting a fruit-filled compote, set in a Rococo-carved frame, on a tripod base carved with foliage and ending in pad feet, ht. 64 1/2 in. Dates from the 19th century or earlier; some shrinkage cracking to frame around panel and one loss to upper right corner; panel brittle; one leg cracked and age typical wear.
