Continental Silver Whistle, early 19th century, formed as a seahorse, and suspending three bells, the stem of whistle engraved with monograms and dates, unmarked, lg. 4 in., approx. 1.5 troy oz. unmarked. closed end of stem with a small, thin hole (approx. 1/8" long). first engraved date is 1816. latest date is 1935. minor age wear.
