Associated George III Candle Snuffer and Tray, London, 1782, the snuffer with openwork husk arms and bright cut accenting, maker's mark IB, lg. 6 1/4, the tray oval, with slight raised ends pierced and engraved with urns and swags, Robert Hennell, maker, lg. 8 7/8 in., approx. 7 troy oz. minor overall age wear. the tray with a compression mark from one of the snuffer's feet, and a few light pinpoints. marks good.
