Pair of Victorian Classical Revival Gilt-metal and Marble Candelabra, second half 19th century, each with infant bacchante holding aloft an elaborately molded foliate decorated five-light candle branch, with fluted socle and octagonal base, on beaded feet, ht. 29 in. Heavily rubbed thoughout one and with gold paint covering the other; one with branch unattached and with one nozzle broken off; generally in need of a good cleaning; one foot compressed; age typical minor additional defects.
