Continental Baroque Oak Side Table and Louis XIV Walnut Ladder-back Side Chair, 17th/18th century, first with plank-form top and columnar legs on a plinth base; side chair with three "rungs," overupholstered seat, and scrolled legs, table ht. 26, wd. 16, dp. 17; seat ht. 18, wd. 20 1/2, dp. 14 1/2 in. Table with moderate to heavy wear to top and base; base off color from top; top with shrinkage and old pin repairs and stains; chair with moderate worming; left cresting joint repaired and losses to one finial; sturdy and with good color.
