Condition: Hinged/adhered at top edge, toning/mat burn, creases c.r. N.B. Thompson completed an oil on canvas composition titled Old Bruton Church, Williamsburg, Virginia, in the Time of Lord Dunmore , in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This watercolor, possibly a preliminary sketch, depicts the church from a different vantage point.
