Rosa Bonheur (French, 1822-1899) Lion Studies Stamped "Rosa Bonheur" l. l., wax seal to the verso. Graphite on paper, sheet size 7 3/4 x 9 1/2 in. (19.7 x 24.1 cm), unframed. Condition: Mounted onto board, foxing throughout, loss u.l., nicks/wear to edges, subtle toning. Provenance: Through a Nantucket estate. There is a 1/2 inch loss to the edge u.l. The sheet is disadhereing from the board to which it is mounted. The red wax seal on the borad reads "VENTE ROSA BONHEUR..."
