Two Continental Bronze Commemorative Medals, 19th century, first modeled by Andrieu and cast by Denon, depicting the bust of Napoleon to the obverse and a scene of the Birth of the King of Rome, 1821, to the reverse; second dated 1859, depicting a bust of Nicholas I in military garb to the obverse and an equestrian monument to the reverse, lettering in Cyrillic, dia. 2 3/4 and 3 5/8 in. First with spotting and scattered discoloration, average wear; second with corroded spot at 8 o'clock, rubbing to epaulet and minor nicking around edges.
