French Oak Morbier Tall Clock by Darbois, Meung St. Loire, the decoratively carved case housing the enameled dial with Roman numerals signed by the maker and eight-day posted frame movement with "prayer repeat", anchor escapement and two weights, (lacking pendulum), ht. 90 in. Lacking pendulum, movement needs cleaning, cresting on dial held on with modern screws, age consistent surface crack on waist door.
