Hubert Vos (Dutch/American, 1855-1935) Wooded Pond Signed and dated "Hubert/VOS 1913" l. l. Oil on canvas, sight size 20 7/8 x 28 1/4 in. (53.0 x 72.0 cm), framed. Condition: Good. Tack holes in each corner. Small abrasion, lower left, with 3/8 in. area of paint loss. Mild canvas deformation in upper right corner that would probably resolve with keying out. Backing was not removed and appears to be glued to the stretcher. Painting is nailed into its frame through the back of the stretcher.
