Italian . 800 Silver, Enamel, and Stone-set Compact, early 20th century, rectangular, the lid with bright blue ground within a turquoise blue border, with raised openwork design of flowers and ribbons set atop the center section, and mounted with faceted red, blue, colorless, and purple stones, base engraved with leafy scrolls, interior of lid mounted with mirror, wd. 3 1/8 in., approx. 4 troy oz. total (including mirror). good, with cardboard retailer's box from "Attilio Cappelli Gioieluere, Firenze."
