Continental Yellow Gold and Enamel Vanity Box, early 20th century, lid, sides, and base with deep royal blue enameled ground, with fine white enamel borders, and rims engraved with a fine scrolling vine accented with green enameled leaves, and small opalescent "jewels," dia. 2 3/8 in., approx. 53 dwt. light with some scratching to the blue enamel. sides lacking enamel from approx. 12 tiny green leaves, and with some loss to the white bands. base with some scratching to the blue, and with a light edge chip to the blue enamel at the outer edge (approx. 1/4"). tests to approx. 14-18kt.
