Italian . 800 Silver Covered Serving Bowl with Underplate, Milan, mid-20th century, round, the lid with raised center section mounted with handle cast as a boar's head set atop a leafy branch, with crabstock and leaf handles, lid and round undertray engraved at rim with border of laurel and oak leaves, tureen wd. with handles 11 3/4, underplate dia. 12 in., approx. 63 troy oz. interior of bowl with a cluster of three pinpoints. minor overall usage wear and light rubbing to the laurel/oak leaf surface decoration.
