Sold for:
$178

Pair of Early Georgian Brass Candlesticks, England, 18th century, turned stems supported on shaped bases, ht. 7 3/4 in. One appears to have had some glue/cement under the base to the stem; the same stick with an applied finish under the base. The bases match up nicely when placed base to base and each has the very same inscribed lines to the nozzles and dashes to the base. Each has age typical defects and usage wear.
