Five French Silver Wine Tasters, early 19th century, two with snake-form handles (one inset with a coin to interior), one with loop handle, and engraved with the name "Descartes," one with a tab-form handle inset with a coin dated 1818, the fifth with tab-form handle engraved with a putto blacksmith, lg. 3 1/2 to 4 3/4 in., approx. 16 troy oz. total. all with some light usage base dings. One of the snake-handled with side dents, and significant surface wear to interior surface of coin. the tab-handled with coin with wear to surface of coin.
