Whimsical German . 800 Silver Fish-form Sauce Boat, late 19th century, the Renaissance-style fish with head forming spout and curved tail forming handle, on three fin-form feet, mounted with red cabochon stone eyes, lg. 10 3/4, ht. 5 in., approx. 12 troy oz. Provenance: Ex-collection of a prominent Boston university. Good, with tip of one fin-form foot with very slight bend, and minor usage/cleaning wear.
