George II Silver Standish, London, 1758-59, Edward Aldridge and John Stamper, makers, rectangular with four divided sections, one engraved with an armorial, with colorless glass sander and inkwell, sides decorated with elaborate scrolling filigree and with a gadrooned edge, on claw and ball feet, lg. 7 7/8 in., approx. 14 oz. weighable silver Engraving heavily rubbed; one foot with inner compression and slight list to back left corner and some repairs to filigree in same area; top missing to inkwell and perhaps front well; age typical usage wear.
