Two Irish George III Silver Teaware Items, Dublin, a teapot, 1793, Joseph Jackson, maker, with ivory pineapple lid finial and straight spout, ht. 7, and a creamer, 1794, John Stoyte, maker, with reeded loop handle, ht. 5 1/4 in., both ovoid, with vertical fluting to corners, bright-cut waist bands of foliate guilloche, and a coat of arms, approx. 20 troy oz. total. creamer: repair at join of base of handle to body. small metal tear at upper rim. base dings. teapot: old repairs along top edge of body. handle broken and reglued at top. handle sockets showing some compression into body from interior. possible inner strengthening repairs to foot rim. both with age wear to surface decoration. Marks OK.
