Whiting Sterling Mug, c. 1876, slightly tapered cylindrical form with reeded upper rim, and flaring base rim die-rolled with acanthus and patera scrolls, ear handle, with presentation inscription dated 1876, ht. 3 3/4 in., approx. 6 troy oz. scattered light pinpoints and dings to body. handle showing very slight compression into body (visible from interior). engraved with name "Newell Tucker" and date Oct. 8th 1876. usage wear to base rim.
