American Empire Coin Silver Six-piece Tea and Coffee Service, Philadelphia, c. 1835, Robert and William Wilson, makers, paneled and flaring cylindrical bodies with foliate chased and embossed neck band, with acanthus-topped ear handles, domed lids with bird-form finials, on acanthus feet, comprising hot water pot (ht. 11 1/4 in.), pair of pots, covered sugar, covered creamer, and waste bowl, each with small monogram to underside, approx. 212 troy oz. total. creamer with possibly repaired dents to neck and a spot at base below handle. one of the pair of pots with slightly loose handle. overall: a few scattered poinpoints, and minor age wear.
