Manner of Dante Gabriel Rossetti (English, 1828-1882) Framed Sketch of a Woman's Head, probably 20th Century. Signed with a cipher l.r. Graphite and crayon on paper with a partial Whatman watermark, sheet size 13 3/4 x 9 1/4 in., framed. Condition: Creasing, rippling, nicks and wear to the edges, toning, mild acid burn. Provenance: Estate of N. David Scotti, Providence, Rhode Island. Sheet is affixed to backing paper at the four corners. There is a partial inscription in the u.l. corner of the sheet that appears to be some kind of list.
