Four Bronzes, China, Ming dynasty (1368-1644), a bronze mirror crisply cast in high relief with celestial figures and pavilions, a small mirror cast in relief with lion and grapevine design, a cash coin with phoenixes to one side, and characters "Tai Ping Fu Gui" (Peace and Wealth) to the other, a quatrefoil bronze plate cast with lengthy inscriptions to the interior, dated the thirteenth day of the third month of the seventh year of Xuande reign, corresponding to year 1432, supported on four low ruyi feet surrounding a lion group roundel, dia. 4, 2 1/2, 3, 4 7/8 in.
