French Art Nouveau Carved Walnut Sideboard, c. 1900, attributed to Eugene Gaillard, slightly bowed front with outset corners, the stiles topped by stylized leaftip, with central cupboard door carved with an iris and sinuous reeding, flanked by two short drawers with sinuous cast bronze pulls, over two conforming cupboard doors with further sinuous reed carving, with paneled sides and S-scroll carved feet, ht. 40 3/4, dp. 25 3/4, lg. 67 in. Provenance: Lillian Nassau, New York. Structurally very sound; the top with several surface stains and scratches; overall minor age wear and nicks.
