Gothic-style Oak Tavern Table, late 19th/early 20th century, rectangular top with single hinged fold-down leaf, the frieze carved on all three sides with linenfold and griffins, on box-form base with slanted linenfold-carved front panel, raised on trestle supports ending in beast mask-carved feet, ht. 30 1/2, wd. 39 3/4, dp. closed 23 5/8, open 47 3/8 in. exterior of top with two shrinkage cracks, one with a small spot of loss. Interior of top refinished. minor edge gouging from use. shrinkage lines to trestle ends.
