Elton Ware Art Pottery Vase, England, late 19th/early 20th century, Sunflower Pottery, Bristol, ovoid form modeled with eight loops around rim and neck, slip decorated with a medial band of roses on thorny branches in turquoise and brown on a dark blue ground with streaks of turquoise, the base inscribed Elton, ht. 15 5/8 in. Surface chip to a patch of slip at the center of one blossom.
