Max Weber (Russian/American, 1881-1961) Beneath the Canopy Signed and dated "Max Weber 1930" in pencil on the mount l. r., titled on the mount l.l., identified on a label from the Art Institute of Chicago (see below) affixed to the backing. Gouache and graphite on brown paper, sheet size 4 1/4 x 5 7/8 in. (10.8 x 14.9 cm), framed. Condition: Sheet mounted to backing mat, tape hinged to window mat.
