Sandor Bernath (American, 1892-1984) Lot of Two Scenes of Sailing Yachts: Yacht Racing and Vessel Under Full Sail Signed "Sandor Bernath" l. l. and l.r., respectively. Watercolor on paper/board, sight sizes to approximately 15 3/8 x 20 3/8 in. (39.0 x 51.7 cm), framed. Condition: Full Sail with subtle rippling; both with scattered foxing, not examined out of mounts. Yacht Racing with sheet mounted to paperboard support stamped "L. Bamberger & Co/.../Feb. 19, 1942" and with window mat glued to support. Full Sail with window mat glued to foam core backing, which did not permit it to be opened with possibly damaging the matting.
