Peter Graham (Scottish, 1836-1921) Highland Cattle Signed and dated "Peter Graham/1901" l. r., with a label from Arthur Tooth & Sons, New York, affixed to the stretcher. Oil on canvas, 48 1/2 x 72 in. (123.2 x 182.9 cm), framed. Condition: Punctures, paint losses, canvas deformation in lower corners, craquelure, surface grime. Puncture l.r. quadrant measuring 3 x 2 in., two punctures l.l. quadrant, with one being a tear measuring 1/3 x 1 in. and the other a hole measuring 1/4 in. diameter.
