Condition: Lined, retouch, minute paint losses at edges. Provenance: Charles Scribner's Sons, New York, New York, to 1919; Mrs. A.N. The lining is relatively new and is adhered with glue or resin. The retouch is primarily to a series of vertical striations running from top to bottom through the figure of the woman.
