Marguerite Kirmse (American, 1885-1954) Two Scotties: One Seated, One Crouching Both stamped " © M. KIRMSE/GORHAM CO" on the undersides, Seated also stamped "QGGF," and Crouching stamped "QGJL." Bronzes with deep brown patina, sizes to 3 1/4 x 1 1/2 in. (8.5 x 3.5 cm), with a marble plinth. Condition: Dust and dirt in the interstices, scattered areas of minor wear to patina, Seated with minor oxidation to proper left ear. N.B. The lot is accompanied by a tiny metal figure of a frog with green patina by an unknown maker. Plinth measures 3 x 6 x 1/2 in.
