Walton Blodgett (American, 1908-1963) Vermont Landscape with Houses Signed "Walton Blodgett" l. r. Watercolor and pencil on paper, sight size 14 1/4 x 20 1/2 in. (36.0 x 52.0 cm), framed. Condition: Not examined out of frame. Attached to the frame backing is a newspaper article by A. J. Philpott describing the artist's visit to Doll and Richards Gallery in Boston. Philpott recorded the artist's name as "Dalton Blodgett." Paper laid onto board; minor paper loss to u.l. edge approx. 1/4 x 1/8 in.; no additional condition issues to report.
