American, 20th century. Silverplated handled samovar with ball or orb form body with engraved diamond detail. Lid with ball form finial raised on three paw feet. Orb shaped vessel raised legs with four crowned bearded goat faces at top terminating to four paw feet. Samovar spout connected by triangular foliate form and with carved bone handle accents. Marked on bottom with oval medallion reading " PORT? PLATING CO Taunton MASS.". Also with "760" on bottom of orb chamber. Height 13 inches. Width (across handles) 9 inches.
