Two Paktong Boxes, China, 19th century, each rectangular shape with rounded corners and with sliding covers, one cover with reverse decoration of mythical birds and animals amidst flower branches, enclosing mahjong set, the other cover decorated with a crane and a deer in a celestial landscape, lg. 5, 5 1/4 in. One box missing mahjong pieces inside, overall good condition.
