Three Hand-stitched Pieced and Applique Cotton Quilts, (imperfections). Red and green quilt: Has cotton edging, the same as the background field and backing, has a firm puckered hand to it, the colored segment are fading, one border flower with frayed spots, several small sparsely scattered spots of fraying on edges, some light stains- four larger approx. 6-8 in. in dia. and a few smaller stains; pink and lt. blue basket of flowers quilt: unwashed or barely washed condition, minor toning scattered light stains, binding natural cotton brought round from the backing, no fraying on binding; pink and green hollyhocks: washed condition, some fading to colored fabrics, pink cotton binding, no fraying detected, light toning and a few small, scattered light stains.
