Transfer-decorated Staffordshire Pottery Andrew Jackson Plate, England, c. 1824-28, pearlware plate centered with a black transfer bust depicting "General Jackson/The Hero of New Orleans," with pink lustre borders, (minor imperfections), dia. 8 5/8 in. A few light scratches to transfer area, some wear to glaze with light brownish tiny spotty stains on cavetto and rim, small chip to table rim about 1/4 in. lg.
