Four-piece Meiji Period Silver Tea Set, Japan, late 19th/early 20th century, a teapot, ht. 7 5/8 in., creamer, open sugar, and tea caddy, each with dragon-form handle and body decorated with chrysanthemums; teapot and creamer with leafy spouts, all with jungin "pure silver" and Konoike maker's marks, approx. 56.7 total troy oz. Sugar with one dragon handle lacking head and one dent near base. Teapot with two dents near base.
