Attributed to Hyman Bloom (American, 1913-2009) Clown . Initialed "HB" l.r., inscribed "Mirski Bloom Clown...Gift" on a label affixed to the frame backing. Pencil with chalk on laid paper, sheet size 12 1/4 x 9 3/8 in., framed. Condition: Acid burn, two small tears mended with tape on the reverse, subtle toning and rippling, sheet hinged to window mat with brown paper tape across the top, paper tape reinforcement to l.r. corner of the reverse. Tears are one inch or less, located center left and lower left edge when viewed from the reverse. Sheet with one deckled edge.
