Cobalt-decorated Stoneware Jug, America, early to mid-19th century, three-gallon ovoid jug, the front decorated with a stylized brushed cobalt cluster of grapes, (crazing, scattered cobalt losses, chip on handle), ht. 14 in. The crazing on top half of front, with numerous small scattered cobalt losses on the design, shallow handle chip about 3/4 x 1/2 in. on top surface, a few small potstone bursts around the body.
